US Composite Pipe South
In 2009 Sima Environmental, Inc. entered into an agreement to represent US Composite Pipe SE. USCP-SE is a an American owned and run manufacturer of Flowtite large diameter fiberglass pipe and Meyer polymer concrete pipe. Made in a state of the art 7 year old facility in Zachery, La. Flowtite is currently being manufactured in sizes up to 96". Flowtite has a variety of coupling designs including; a beefed up direct bury joint, a restrained joint, and a new fiberglass slip-lining coupler.

Flowtite pipe is designed for direct bury, slip-line and pressure applications. It's fiberglass filament wound process allows it to be manufactured to custom sizes, strengths, pressures and lengths to suit the application optimally. Flowtite pipe meets or exceeds all applicable ASTM standards, and is inherently corrosion resistant in sanitary applications. Flowtite is NSF 61 approved for potable applications as well. For your next large diameter interceptor sewer, force main, water transmission main, or raw water line, consider Flowtite Pipe

USCP-SE also manufacturers Meyer polymer concrete, also known as Polycrete. Polycrete offers the best of both rigid and flexible conduit design. Polycrete is tested to ASTM standards for polymer concrete pipe which have many of the same features as reinforced concrete testing (e.g. D loading and 3 point load bearing) as well as testing for fiberglass pipe (e.g. chemical resistance under load) The concept of the pipe is using taking out portland cement as the bonding agent in concrete pipe and replacing it wit polyester resin, silica and quartz giving you a far stronger product that is corrosion resistant.

While conceptually this is the ideal pipe for direct bury, it is somewhat cost prohibitive at this point and time. The primary applications for the pipe take advantage of not only the pipes corrosion resistant nature but its durability and extremely high physical characteristics. With minimum compressive strengths of 13,000 psi and flexural of 2,900 psi., Meyer is ideal for jacking applications. It's smooth, non porous, durable design allows Meyer to be jacked further, and more safely than less durable products. While never the cheapest option available, Meyers ability to handle the job is the reason so many municipalities and contractors choose Meyer for the tough project.
